Whilst propped on the sofa attempting to cough my lungs right out of my chest this week I have learnt a lot about my photography. I was challenged yesterday to take a fresh look at it and today's #qschallenge of "Street Life" gave me an excuse to further challenge my own perception of a good shot.

Admittedly I kind of cheated and took my photos from the living room window and a couple from the car when I went out to fetch more Lemsip, but I really surprised myself. I am starting to realise that a good shot does not have to be of something I already think looks good, and by really looking I can turn an average snap into a decent photo.
