Birds for Jezza

Birds aren't easy to photograph; they move too quickly or fly away just as you're about to get the perfect shot, but they are quite fascinating. I took these on my recent trip to New England for @photomoments (who is far better with birds than me so check out http://www.photomoments.me.uk/)

A duck had made a nest on an island in the creek between Newport Pond and Easton Beach, Rhode Island.

The seagulls were dropping clams onto the sand to break them open,

Before swooping down to enjoy their breakfast.

Easton Beach at 5:45am was full of seagulls.

After a while they stopped being bothered that I was there,

And walked right up to me!

Central Park was full of these birds but I have no idea what they are!
